Every situation is relative, depending on how you look at things. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. This is a popular school of thought that should become truth. This essay shall argue in favor of this idea, that nothing is as clear cut as persons would like to believe.
One man’s terrorist is another man’s revolutionary. The idea behind this thought is that while one person may see someone with ideas that go against the grain as a danger to society, others may see him as a visionary, and the future of a nation. There is no one truth. There is no one way to look at a situation. As the saying goes, “There are three sides to a story, yours, mine and the truth.” So it is true to say that every situation is relative, circumstance dependent, depending on the narrator recounting the story.
In conclusion, situations are not plain black and white. Situations are neither completely right or completely wrong. They are viewed from different lenses, depending on the person viewing events.
