In the similar spirit of the Word of the Week and the Idiom of the Week, we have the Grammar Rule of the Week. I hope that all essay writers can use this in their CXC prep/ CSEC prep. The Grammar Rule of the Week is found below.
A singular subject takes a singular verb. A plural subject takes a plural verb.
Example: She writes well. She in this instance is single, so it takes the singular verb “write.” They write daily. They in this case is plural, so it takes a plural verb, “write.”
