A question is a type of sentence that asks something. It is used to get information, clarity or an answer from someone.
- A question usually begins with a question word like:
- Who, What, When, Where, Why, How
- Or it can begin with a helping verb like:
- Do, Does, Is, Are, Can, Will
- A question always ends with a question mark (?)

- This sentence is asking for information.
- It begins with a question word (Where) and ends with a question mark.
