The @ sign is a symbol that looks like this: @
It’s pronounced “at” and is most commonly used:

  1. In email addresses to separate the username from the domain (for example, jane.doe@gmail.com).
  2. On social media platforms to tag or mention someone (for example, @username).

🔹 Example Uses:

In an email address:
teacher@example.com
👉 Here, teacher is the username, and example.com is the email service provider.

On social media:
Hey @JohnDoe, did you see this post?
👉 Here, you’re mentioning or tagging John Doe in your message.

And there you have it. So go ahead and use the @ sign appropriately in your CXC prep/ CSEC prep.
