Definition:
An aphorism is a concise, memorable statement that expresses a general truth or principle. It’s often witty or philosophical and is meant to be easily remembered.


Example:

“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

  • Meaning: If something is working well, don’t try to change it unnecessarily.

Other famous aphorisms:

  • “Actions speak louder than words.”
  • “The early bird catches the worm.”
