📌 Malapropism

Definition:
A malapropism is the unintentional misuse of a word by confusing it with one that sounds similar, often resulting in a humorous or nonsensical expression. The intended word is replaced with one that has a completely different meaning.

Example:

“He is the pineapple of politeness.”
(Instead of “pinnacle” of politeness.)

Another example:

“Texas has a lot of electrical votes.”
(Instead of “electoral votes.”)

Malapropisms are often used in comedy or satire to highlight a character’s ignorance or to create a light, amusing tone.
