📌 Hypophora

Definition:
Hypophora is a rhetorical device in which the speaker asks a question and immediately answers it. It is often used to guide the audience’s thinking or to emphasize a point.

Example:

“Why do we need to care about the environment? Because our future depends on the choices we make today.”

  • The question raises curiosity, and the immediate answer provides clarity and emphasis.

Another example:

“What makes a leader great? It is their ability to listen, inspire, and act decisively.”
