📌 Isocolon

Definition:
Isocolon is a rhetorical device where two or more successive clauses, phrases, or sentences have the same length and grammatical structure, creating rhythm and balance in speech or writing.

Example:

“I came, I saw, I conquered.” — Julius Caesar

  • Three clauses, each short and parallel in structure, create a strong, memorable rhythm.

Another example:

“Easy come, easy go.”

  • Two balanced phrases with identical structure emphasize symmetry and conciseness.

And there it is! Now go ahead and use isocolon in your CXC prep/CSEC prep.
