Scesis Onomaton is a rhetorical device in which an idea is emphasized by expressing it through a series of synonymous words or phrases. It’s often used for emphasis, clarity, or dramatic effect.

The repetition of the same concept using multiple words or phrases with similar meanings to reinforce a point.

✅ Example:

• “We succeeded, we prevailed, we triumphed!”
  Here, the idea of victory is emphasized by three synonymous words.

Another example:

• “He is brave, he is courageous, he fears nothing.”
  The repetition strengthens the perception of the character’s valor.
